“PRESIDENT TRUMP MAY HAVE HIS ALTERNATIVE FACTS,
      BUT ALTERNATIVE FACTS DO NOT WORK IN A COURTROOM”

This web-site:

  • explains why, with politics in disarray, legal action is now critical to tackling climate change in time;

  • outlines different forms of available legal action;

Many thanks to Gideon Mendel for kind permission to use his 'Drowning World' series of photographs, a project he began in 2007 to explore the personal impacts of climate change. Flooding is just one of the consequences of global warming: the warmer air is, the more water vapour it can hold, leading to rainfall that is less regular but more extreme. Since water vapour is itself a greenhouse gas, a vicious circle (or 'positive feedback effect') results, accelerating both warming and flooding.
